Leadership Development Program
The leadership development program was designed to train young professionals for management roles at PACCAR. Good candidates for this program have at a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business-related field plus an MBA or MS in Information Technology or Engineering, and at least five years of experience with a year or more as a supervisor. Once hired, these future leaders rotate between short-term assignments over the course of a year or year and a half. At the end of that time, each trainee has experience in several different sectors of the company, providing them with a good idea of how the company as a whole works together. Once they have completed the program successfully, the trainees are placed in mid-level management positions at PACCAR.
