Training
Schneider does not offer CDL training school at the present time, but they do have entry-level driving opportunities for those who have successfully completed a qualifying program. You will have to pay for your tuition out-of-pocket, but once you start work, the company has a tuition reimbursement program. Job Types
Schneider offers several different types of driving opportunities. OTR drivers handle moves and commercial customers. Team drivers work together to deliver expedited cargo with very little loading and unloading. Regional drivers stay in a specific sector of the country. Dedicated drivers service one customer and usually have predictable routes and schedules. Intermodal drivers move freight to and from rail yards, with predictable schedules and home time. Tanker drivers carry liquid chemicals in local, regional or long-haul arrangements.
